If you get a gas water heater and it has a number that is too low then you will end up waiting around for the water to be heated back up and that can cause some problems.

A tankless water heater can be a wonderful thing. They take up far less space then the conventional type and will overall be a much more efficient system when it comes to power usage and so on. But you should understand that a waterless water heater is not a cure all for water heating problems. Even with the water heater in place you will have to limit the amount of hot water that is used. The system still needs time to work and will have to be able to keep up with the demand much the same way a water heater with a tank would have too.
